As of January 1st 2013, Micro-Scale Models will be selling all of our products exclusively to the consumer. We will no longer be selling any of our products to distributors or other retailers.  No more “middle man” means that we can ensure you are getting the best possible product, at the best possible price, with the best possible service.

What exactly does this mean?

Existing products will be priced with discounts of up to 30% off the original retail price.  Going forward, new kits being released will be priced for direct sale to the consumer. This new model also gives us better control of the quality of the product delivered to your door.  As those of you who have purchased and assembled our kits know,  each kit contains numerous hand made parts that are extremely detailed and tend to be fragile.  No matter how much care goes in to packaging these parts, once the kits leave our doors and head off to a distributor or retailer, we have no control over how they are handled.  Selling exclusively to our customers means that you can expect the product to be shipped properly and delivered as intended.

Again, this change takes effect on January 1st, 2013.  All new products will only be available directly from Micro-Scale Models, either through this website, by phone or at one of the numerous hobby and train shows we attend each year.
